2 T butter
6 T heavy cream
1 t vanilla extract
3/4 C semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 C sifted confectioner's sugar, or as needed.

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a heavy saucepan over low heat and whisk until smooth. Cool slightly, add more sugar, if necessary, to achieve spreading consistency. Spread on cake while frosting is still warm.

This is the frosting I use for the Mocha Cake or Cupcakes but can be used for any cake.
