1 C flour
1/2 C chopped walnuts
1/4 C packed brown sugar
1/2 C melted butter

2 1/2 C shopped strawberries
1/2 C sugar
1 T lemon juice
16 oz. light whipped topping, thawed.

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, nuts and brown sugar. Add butter, tossing to combine. Spread into shallow baking dish. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. sprinkle about a 1 1/2 C of the crust mixture in a 13x9x2 baking pan and set aside. Combine sugar, strawberries and lemon juice. Fold dessert topping into it. Spoon over crust mixture. Sprinkle crust on top. Cover and freeze for six hours until firm. Cut into squares.

Frosty strawberry squares are a suburban mother's dream! Live the fantasy and try them out! Perfect for a backyard bar-b-que. They won't be there in the morning. When our "healthy" friend turned her nose up at them because she doesn't "do" dairy, i exclaimed with excitement, "It's nondairy whipped topping! You can have this!" She declined. More for us.
