Dough:
1 egg
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 c. flour You may use 5 cups.
Filling:
1/4 C. melted butter or margarine
1 T. cinnamon
1/2 C. brown sugar
Topping :
1 1/4 C. powdered sugar
1 T. butter, softened
1 or 2 T. milk
1/2 tsp. maple flavoring or vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix the egg, shortening, sugar, salt and flour about 5 P.M.
2. Punch every our until about 10 P.M.
3. Then roll out like cinnamon rolls. Add the filling. Roll up. Cut. Place into TWO greased 9 by 13 pans.
4. Leave out. Don't cover.
5. In the morning, bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
6. Frost while hot.

The first time I made these was Christmas Eve about 8 P.M. so I only punched them once or twice. They were wonderful. I cut my cinnamon rolls with dental floss.
