1 1/2 C.sugar
1/2 C. butter,softened
1/2 C. shortening
2 eggs
2 3/4 C. flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 C. sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 400ºF. Mix 1 1/2c. sugar, butter, shortening and eggs. Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Shape into 1 1/4 inch balls.
Mix 1/4 C. sugar and cinnamon. Roll balls in mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Remove to cooling rack immediately from oven.
Makes 3 Dozen
