Base:
2 cups of Self Raising Flour or all purpose flour can be used
275g melted butter
2 cups brown sugar
1 heaped Tbsp Cocoa
2 cups coconut (if don't like coconut replace with cocoa pops, Special K or rolled oats)

Topping:
1/2 cup chopped apricots OR 4 Tbsp Sultanas
1/2 cup mixture of dried fruit of your choice eg cranberries, raisins, sultanas.
70g slice almonds or walnuts (optional)
1 cup chocolate drops (dark or white chocolate or mixture of both)
1 cup coconut
1 tin condense milk

Directions:

1. Line a sponge roll tin with baking paper.
2. Pre-heat oven to 180ºC.
3. Melt butter, add butter to base dried ingredients and mix well.
4. Press mixture, firmly into sponge roll tin.
5. Bake for 18 minutes, remove from overn.
6. Sprinkle 1/2 amount of coconut first on top of the slice, add nuts, fruit and sprinkle with chocolate drops.
7. Then sprinkle with remaining coconut and pour over the tin of condense milk (up and down and across).
8. Bake for 18 minutes or until golden brown.
9. Allow to cool before slicing, this is great for freezing.
10. For a Christmas touch add things like glazed cherries, pistachio nuts.
