1 cup butter (room temp)
5 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
3 eggs beaten

1 tbsp active dry yeast
1/4 warm water (mix yeast and water together with a little sugar and let proof)

3/4 cup warm water
1/2 cup sugar

Filling
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cut butter into flour and mix until like a cornmeal. Add eggs. Add yeast/water mixture to eggs, and remaining ingredients. Batter may be sticky. Refrigerate covered for 5-6 hour or overnight. Bring to room temp and divide into 4 equal parts and roll each into 9x12 rectangle. Prepare filling.

Filling
Mix all filling ingredients. Spread in a 3 inch wide strip down the centre of each rectangle. Cut sides of rectangle at an angle and fold in sides alternately over filling.
Place on greased cookie sheet, cover and let rise until double. Bake at 325º for 25 min. Move carefully to wire rack, cool slightly and drizzle icing over them

Icing
mix together 1 1/2 cups icing sugar, 1 1/2 tbsp hot milk, 3 tsp melted butter and 1/2 tsp vanilla.
