2 cups flour
3 T. sugar
1/2 t. salt
1 T. yeast
1 1/2 cup warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 5 ingredients together and let rise until doubled. When this has risen add the rest of the flour and sugar. Mix well with your hands. Place in loaf pan and let rise. Bake 45 minutes in 400ºF. Butter top of loaf after removing from pan.

Variation: Use whole wheat flour for the first 2 cups. May use brown sugar or honey.
