3/4 c. of oatmeal
1/2 to 3/4 sleeve of Ritz crackers
1/2 c. Canned tomato sauce
1/2 can stewed tomatoes
1 tsp salt
1 tsp onion salt
1 lb ground beef
Sauce:
1/2 c. Catsup
1/4 c. Brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp Mustard
2 tbsp vinegar

Preheat oven to 350. Mix ingredients (prepare sauce separately). Place in glass baking pan. Pour sauce over the top and bake for 1 hour.

When Tara and I were roommates we enjoyed making "country girl" meals. This recipe started out from a recipe in the Waterloo Road cookbook, but has been tweaked through the years. My family really loves the sauce and always asks me to make extra.
