Back in the day when I was a kid, one of the meals that I remember most was my mom's (Beth Schulte) simple cheese bread. She would usually make it for us kids to go with Campbell tomato soup. I have a feeling it was usually made for us on Friday when we were fasting and couldn't eat meat. Sometimes the cheese was left in just a little too long and it would turn a little black and crusty on top ... yummmmm...crispy on top and soft on the bottom side. That was when it was best. Thanks Mom for the cheese bread meals, the memories, and for doing your part to keep us kids out of hell.
