1 pound extra wide egg noodles
2 large onions, thinly sliced lengthwise
4 tbsp butter
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp ground thyme or poultry seasoning
Flat-leaf parsley finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions
2. While pasta is cooking, in a deep skillet melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions, season with salt and pepper and the thyme and cook. Stirring until the onions are golden, 20 minutes.
3. Drain the egg noodles. Toss the noodles with parsley and reserved onions. Add additional salt and pepper as desired.
