1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
1/4 c. butter, melted
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine egg, milk, and butter. Stir into dry ingredients quickly to form a soft, moist dough. Spread into a greased 9x13 pan. Peel and core 4-6 medium apples. Cut into eighths. Place apple pieces in a row on dough. Combine 1/2 c. sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon and sprinkle over the apples. Bake at 400º for 10 min. Drizzle a mixture of 2 T. melted butter, 2 egg yolks beaten, and 1/2 c. heavy cream over apples. Return to oven and bake 20 min longer. Serve warm or cold with cream.
