1 1/2 c. shortening, softened
1 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
4 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts, optional
2 c. chocolate chips

Mix ingredients and chill for 1 hour. Bake 8 min at 375º.
