1 lb. Farmer's Sausage
2 medium onions
6 carrots
2 or 3 potatoes
4 stalks celery
1 medium size cabbage
1 tsp. each salt & pepper
2 bay leaves
2 tsp. dry dill
3 oxo cubes
1 (28 oz.) tin tomatoes
1 (48 oz.) tin tomato juice

Directions:
Use a very large pot. Cut sausages into 4 pieces each. Chop cabbage and potatoes (not too fine). Slice carrots and celery. Add enough water to cover; add spices and simmer 1 hour. Add 1 large tin tomatoes and one 48 ounce tin tomato juice; simmer another 1 1/2 hours.
