1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can enchilada sauce
1 can chopped green chilies
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
1 medium onion, chopped fine
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 soup can of water
12 corn tortillas

Directions:

Saute onion in small amount of cooking oil. Add beef and cook until pink disappears. Add enchilada sauce. Mix soup, water, and green chilies in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to soup mixture. Break 6 tortillas into small pieces in a 2 quart casserole. Add layer of meat mixture, layer of soup mixture, and layer of cheese. Repeat ending with cheese. Refrigerate overnight or all day. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
