Any amount of chuck roast you want to cook
2 packages Lipton dry onion soup mix
water

Directions:
Directions:
Place roast in large oven safe pan. Cover with water. Add onion soup and stir to dissolve. Cover pan. Water must not be allowed to evaporate off. Place in 350 degree oven and let cook for 304 hours. Check to see if the roast has fallen apart. If it doesnt, cook longer. I usually cook about 7 lbs for 5 hours.
