1/2 lb salt butter
1 cup sifted confectioner's sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 lb chopped walnuts very close not quite fine
2 1/4 cups flour (about)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter thoroughly, add sifted sugar a little at a time and then vanilla. Add flour alternately with nuts, beating well after each addition. Mold at once with fingers into a crescent shape. Bake on lightly greased inverted side of tin about 25 minutes at 350 until brown. Bake on upper rack last minutes. When cooled dust with powdered sugar.
