5 lbs chicken thighs (boneless)
3 to 4 cloves garlic
Thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger
1 cup (Shoyu) soy sauce (less sodium)
1 cup Ketchup
2/3 cup white sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Fill pot with enough water to cover chicken.

Boil chicken with garlic and ginger for 3- to 45 minutes).

Cut up chicken or shred with fork

Drain most of water from pot and return pot with chicken to stove

Mix soy sauce, ketchup and sugar in a separate bowl and then add to pot. Simmer on low about 30 to 45 minutes or longer until done.
