1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar gradually. Add beaten egg. Mix and sift dry ingredients and add alternately with the milk. Add flavoring. Chill dough 1 hour. Roll part of the dough at a time to 1/8" in thickness. Cut with floured cookie cutters. Bake on greased baking sheet for 10-12 minutes at 375º.
