1 cup soft butter
1/2 cup icing sugar
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add icing sugar,beating well after each addition. Sift together flour and cornstarch. Gradually add to creamed mixture beating constantly. Drop dough by rounded teaspoon full onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press lightly with a floured fork. Decorate each cookie with a small piece of candied cherry. Bake in oven at 300 º for 25 to 30 minutes or just until set but not browned.
Makes about 36 cookies.
