1 lb. sausage
8 slices white bread (no crusts)
7 eggs
2 1/2 c. half & half
1 1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage over medium heat until done, stirring to crumble. Drain. Cut bread into cubes. Place in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Sprinkle with sausage and top with cheese. Combine eggs, half & half and salt. Pour over mixture in pan. Chill, covered, at least 8 hours. Next morning, bake at 350º for 40-50 minutes.

This is what our family has on Christmas morning. It bakes while we are opening our stockings, then we eat, read from the Bible, start our birthday cake for Jesus and then go on to opening presents!
