2 C flour
1 C old-fashioned oats
1 C packed, light brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 C (2sticks) chilled unsalted butter, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1/2 C sliced almonds

FILLING:
3 C fresh blueberries or 12 oz frozen blueberries (do not thaw)
1 C blueberry preserves (10-11 oz)
1 T flour
1 tsp finely grated lemon peel

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º F.

Butter bottom of 13x9x2 inch metal pan.

Whisk flour, oats, sugar, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl.
Add 1 C butter, rub in with fingertips until mixture sticks together in small clumps.
Transfer 2 C to a medium bowl, mix in almonds and reserve for topping.
Press remaining mixture into bottom of the pan.

Mix filling ingredients in a medium bowl.
Spread evenly over the crust in the pan.
Sprinkle reserved topping over top.

Bake bars until filling bubbles thickly at edges and topping is golden brown, about 40 minutes.

Cool in pan on rack.
Cut into 24 bars
