8 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
12 egg yolks
1 cup sugar
2 1/4 cup warm milk
4 1/2 pkts of unflavored gelatin
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
3 tbsp. orange liquor

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt until soft peaks form. Mix egg yolks and sugar. Gradually add warm milk. Heat carefully until thickened. Mix the gelatin and orange juice and add to the egg yolk mixture. Put pan in ice water until mixture cools.

Then add cream (whipped), orange liquor and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Fold in carefully. Add gently to stiff (but soft) egg whites. Cut cake into 4 layers. Put waxed paper in bottom and around side. Put one layer in pan, put on layer of whipped sauce, put another cake, another layer of the whipped and so on. Do not put on top layer.

Put in freezer for 1 to 2 hours. Cut and serve immediately.
