1 baked Angel food cake
Sunshine filling:
3 tablespoons cornstarch
2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
Directions:
Directions:
Slice baked angel food cake in half crosswise when cool. Place cornstarch in a small sauce pan. Slowly add orange juice to cornstarch with a whip. Add honey and sugar. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens, remove from heat and add lemon extract. Cool. Makes about 2 cups. When cool, put half on bottom layer of cake. Add top layer. Spread with remaining filling. Garnish with orange slices.
