3 lbs stew beef
salt & pepper
2 lbs yellow onions halved and sliced
1 tbs tomato paste
2 cloves garlic minced
3 tbs flour
1 1/2 c beef broth
1 1/2 c beer
2 bay leaves
1 tbs vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 300º.
Dry beef with paper towels, season with salt & pepper. Brown in oil. Transfer to medium bowl.
Saute onions, add salt and tomato paste, scraping bottom of pan. Cook until onions are lightly browned. Stir in garlic @ 30 seconds. Add flour and stir until flour and onions are lightly brown. Stir in broth, beer, bay leaves, vinegar and beef. Cover and place in oven. Bake 2-2 1/2 hrs.
