5 C milk, 1 C sugar, 1 Tbs. butter, 4 eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp. salt.
Directions:
Directions:
In large mixing bowl, beat 5 eggs & sugar, add 2 tsp. vanilla, & 1/2 tsp. salt, pour hot milk mixture over egg mixture. In buttered casserole put 12 slices of soft cubed bread. Pour milk mixture over and mix well. Bake at 350 degree for 50 min. (set casserole in pan of water to cook.
