Green beans
Bacon
1/4 - 1/2 c. water
Fresh mushrooms
Butter
1/2 tsp. vermouth
Sprinkle of garlic salt
Almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Fry several pieces of bacon. Remove bacon and crumble. Wash and string fresh green beans, leave whole. Add beans to bacon drippings, and add water. Steam for 12 minutes. Set aside.
Brown fresh mushrooms which have been sliced in butter, add a 1/2 teaspoon of vermouth and a sprinkle of garlic salt. Lay beans on top of sautéed mushrooms and let reheat.

Toast almonds whole by placing in a shallow skillet over medium heat. Season with a sprinkle of garlic salt. Do not use oil or butter, toast them dry.

To serve, arrange beans on serving dish, top with mushrooms and toasted almonds.
