Meatballs:

5 - 6 lbs. ground beef, moose, or deer
1 large + 1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
15 cloves garlic, minced
1-1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
3 tbsp. dried parsley

Mix together and soak:
3/4 cup milk (or soy)
1-1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
2 eggs

Mix together, then put through food processor. Form into balls and fry or bake in oven @ 375 º

Sauce:

2 largish onions, large chop
10 cloves garlic, finely chopped
3 cups brown sugar
2 cups vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2" grated ginger
1/2 cup corn starch
1-1/2 cups chicken broth
3 cans 12 ounce pineapple, with juice
4 peppers, chopped, (2 red, 2 green)

Saute onions and garlic, till soft. Add in next three ingredients. Combine corn starch and chicken broth, add to pot. Simmer till thick, add peppers and pineapple. Add meatballs and simmer 10 minutes.

These are the meatballs I make for the guys for hunting season. Because Jon can't have dairy, I remove the eggs and use unsweetened soy milk.
