4 cups flour 1 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
5/8 inch butter
1 tsp sugar
1 pkg or reg. instant yeast

Directions:
Directions:
In 1/4 cup warm water, 1 tsp sugar, dissolve the yeast, let stand (apx 10 min)
Crumble butter with flour. Beat eggs, add salt, vanilla, milk. Add the yeast and flour mixture. Mix together and rest for 1/2 hour. Divide into 4 equal parts and shape for dumplings. Let rise. Boil over steam for 20 minutes. Let cool and cut with a bread knife or string. Store in freezeable bags
Unfreeze over steam.
