1 medium box Rice Chex
1 medium box Cheerios
1 box stick pretzels
1 can mixed nuts or equivalent amounts of pecans or peanuts
¼ pound margarine
½ cup fresh bacon drippings
2 tablespoons garlic salt
2 tablespoons Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
1 tablespoon Tabasco or other hot sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Put first four ingredients into bottom of large roasting pan and mix together. Mix and simmer all other ingredients for 5-10 minutes, stirring constantly. Spoon liquid ingredients over bulk mixture, stirring mixture while liquid is poured. Place in preheated 250 degree oven and bake for approximately 1-1/2 hours. Stir thoroughly each 15 minutes. Stores in freezer indefinitely; freshen by putting in oven.
