Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup light corn syrup
2 cups sugar
1 pound (2 ¼ cups) raw peanuts
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
1.Turn 3 large cookie sheets upside down. Use these as a work surface for pulling candy. Butter and lightly sprinkle salt onto cookie sheets.
2.Cook corn syrup, sugar and peanuts over high heat in a large, heavy saucepan, stirring constantly until peanuts turn a medium brown color.
3.Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Stir well.
4.Add soda and barely blend.
5.Quickly pour onto cookie sheets, 1/3 of mixture per sheet.
6.Allow to stand until edges of candy can be lifted with a buttered knife edge and pulled. Begin pulling almost immediately so brittle does not harden. Work each sheet of candy, working toward the middle always gently pulling up and out. Pull until very thin. Candy will pull out past the edge of the cookie sheet.
7.Let it cook completely, breaking into large pieces. Store in air tight container.
