3 eggs
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
2 Tbs. margarine or butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. salt
1 cup pecan halves
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
whipped cream for garnish
pecan Halves for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs slightly in medium bowl; stir in corn syrup, sugar, margarine or butter, vanilla and salt until blended.
Stir in pecan halves and chocolate chips; pour into pastry shell.
Bake in lower half of 350 degree oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until puffed across top. (Cover pie loosely with foil after 30 minutes to prevent overbrowning.) Cool. Garnish with whipped cream and pecan halves if desired.
