4 C. sliced peaches or pitted bing cherries
2 TBS. fresh lemon juice
1 c. flour
1c. sugar
1/2 t. salt
1 beaten egg
1 cube butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Lightly butter bottom and sides of 8" square pan; place sliced peaches or pitted cherries in the bottom; sprinkle with lemon juice.

Mix together flour, sugar and salt. Add egg and toss with a fork.

Sprinkle over fruit; drizzle with butter.

Bake at 375 for 40 to 45 minutes.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.º
