7 1/2 qts of Popcorn (nothing on the popcorn, airpop is best)
1/2 cup White Kero Syrup
2 cups Brown Sugar
1 cup Butter or Marg.
1 teaspoon Soda
Nuts optional (pecans)

Directions:
Directions:
Put popped popcorn in a big roaster (make sure you take out all the seeds that did not pop.
Cook to soft boil stage the syrup, brown sugar and butter.
When the syrup has reached the soft boiled stage take off the burner and add the soda , gets foamy.
Pour over popcorn and add nuts if you like
Bake 1 hour in 200º oven.
Stir every 15 mins while in the over.
Take out of oven and stir till cool to break up big chunks.
Store in airtight container.
Can be stored in freezer.

The soda helps take the sticky out of the caramel and the oven dry's the carnal out.
I have mad ethos recipe for many years. the whole family just loves this popcorn. I always make this in the fall and for Christmas.
