1 quart berry juice
1 box Sure-Jell
1 quart sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Wash berries. Put in large pot and bring to boil, about 25 minutes. Cool until mushy. Strain - 2 strainers best. Once strained, put 1 qt. juice back on to boil, about 10 minutes. Add Sure-Jell, boil about 10 minutes more. then add sugar, stir thoroughly. Cook about another 15-20 minutes. When it starts boiling again (Mom says when it makes frog eyes), it's done. Frog eyes is a big boil. Cook until it slides off the spoon, slow drip, then barely a drip. Put in jars and seal.

Personal Notes:
Mom had no recipe, so Peggy and I watched her make jelly and wrote it down as she told us how it was done.
