1/4 cup crisco
2 cups powdered sugar
1 t. margarine
dash of salt
1 t vanilla
Hot Water

Directions:

Cream this together and add the hot water in small amounts to get the consistency you want.

If you double this it will ice a 13 x 9 cake.

This icing is nice to use on cupcakes and cakes, especially if you need to take them somewhere. It never sticks to the covering and in the summer it is great. I received this recipe from Mary Lou years ago when I used to babysit for Kim, Pam and Ron.
