1 can French style green beans
1 can whole kernal corn
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup sliced almonds
3/4 cup cracker crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Mix vegetables in bottom of casserole dish. Mix cream of celery soup, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and chopped onion and pour over vegetables. Top with layer of cracker crumbs and pour melted butter over crackers. Cover with almonds. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

This recipe was submitted in several Methodist Church Cookbooks as "Keith Brown's Green Bean and Corn Casserole." It sure does something for store bought canned green beans. The almonds on top give it a great twist. People often ask for this recipe when I make it to take somewhere.
