Directions:
Let dough rise until it doubles in size. Microwave sausage for 3 1/2 minutes, drain fat. Slice thin and saute in vegetable oil. Remove from heat, drain fat and then let cool. Season peppers and onions with garlic salt and fry in remaining oil. Drain and set aside. Roll out bread dough and spread it on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Spread onions, peppers and sausage down the middle of bread dough evenly. Carefully roll each side of dough to the center. Using fingers, press dough closed. Tuck ends under. Melt butter and spread over the top of rolled dough. Bake at 400º about 25 minutes or until it is browned. Cool slightly before slicing. Yield: 4 servings.
