2 lb. stew meat, not browned
3 to 5 carrots
2 to 3 onions
4 or more potatoes
3 or 4 stalks celery

4 tsps. instant tapioca
1 can or 1 quart tomatoes
1 can Campbell's beef consommé (beef broth)
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Put first 5 ingredients in roaster or Dutch oven.
Stir together the tapioca, tomatoes, and broth. Pour over meat and vegetables. Season to taste. Put on tight-fitting lid and cook at 325º for 3 or 4 hours. Don't take the lid off until it is done.
