8 slices white bread
8 - 10 fresh asparagus spears, cut into 2 inch pieces
2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
2 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. ground sea salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. ground Chef's Blend pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Remove crusts from bread and cut into cubes. Place half the bread cubes in a 2-quart round casserole; top with asparagus and sprinkle with cheese. Add remaining bread cubes.

Combine eggs, milk, onion, salt, dry mustard and pepper; blend well and pour over casserole. Let stand 20 minutes. Bake at 325º for 1 hour or until firm and top is lightly browned.
