2 Cucharadas aceite
4 Tazas o platos hondos de agua
1 Cebolla larga
Ajos

1 ramita Cilantro
1 Cubito de caldo de gallina
4 papas
1 Plátano verde
1/2 yuca
1 Choclo (o mazorca de maiz partido en cuatro)
4 Pollo (piernitas o cualquier parte preferida)
4 Carne de res (costilla o huesita de cola, o lomo)
1 Pedazo de zapallo

En una olla grande se pone 2 cucharadas de aceite. Añadimos al aceite caliente, cebolla larga y el ajo. Añadir las piezas de pollo y de carne a sofreír. Poner un poco de sal. Cuando la carne y el pollo se doren, añada el agua y el cubito de caldo de gallina. Una ramita de cilantro fresca. Tapar la olla hasta que este hirviendo el agua, el pollo, y la carne. Entonces se le añade el maíz, el plátano picado. Tapar la olla. Cuando esté hirviendo se le añada la yuca, el zapallo, y las papas (cortada en cuatro pedazos cada una). Dejar hervir hasta que todo este blandito. Apagar el fuego. Aparte picar cilantro fresco, cebolla larga y ajo.
Al momento de sofreír el sancocho, poner encima de cada plato servicido con poquito del picadito de cebolla y cilantro.
