2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. currants
About 5 oz. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Sift flour with baking powder & salt. Cut in butter, add currants and enough milk to make a rather soft dough. Roll to 1/2 inch thick. Cut out 2 inch circles. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes or until well risen and lightly browned. Yield: 12 scones.
