4 - 5# brisket
1/2 t.nutmeg
1 T. dry mustard
garlic powder to taste
pepper

Mix dry ingredients and rub into meat. Cover loosely with foil. Bake 3 - 3 1/2 hours at 350º. Cool completely. Slice about 1/4" thick.

1 c. ketchup
1/2 to 1 c. water
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
2 T. brown sugar
1 T. vinegar
dash of liquid smoke (optional)

Mix ingredients for sauce. Cover meat with sauce. Cover pan with foil. Bake 1 hour at 350º.
