2 1/2 cups squash, cooked seasoned and mashed
1 medium onion, diced
1 stick margarine
1/2 pt sour cream
1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 lb sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 pkg Pepperidge Farm herb dressing

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º Use a 3-quart baking dish with cover.
Season squash. Add onion while squash is cooking. Cook squash until tender, mash up. Add next 6 ingredients and half of the Pepperidge Farm herb dressing. Mix well and heat mixture in a 3-quart baking dish. cover with shredded cheese. Sprinkle balance of herb stuffing on top of casserole. Dot with butter. cover and bake at 350º for 35 to 40 minutes.
