1/2 cup rice
1 onion, chopped fine
1 15 oz. can whole tomatoes
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Mix all ingredients except grape leaves, lemon and beef broth. Rinse leaves in cold water. Drain, cut stems from leaves. Take each leaf with smooth surface on underside and place 1 tsp. of mixture near step end. Using both hands, fold the lower portion of the leaf up and over filling. Fold right side over, then left side. Then roll tightly from the mixture end to the tip of leaf.

Put seam side down in sauce pan, side by side to form first layer. Squeeze lemon juice over entire layer. Repeat. Pour beef broth until 1/2" above leaves. Cover pot and simmer 1 hour and 15 minutes. Serve on platter.
