3/4 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup or 1/2 Stick Shortening
1 1/4 Cups Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
3 Tbsp. Milk
1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
1 Egg
1 3/4 Cups Flour
3/4 tsp. Salt
3/4 tsp. Baking Soda
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. In large bowl combine peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, milk & vanilla; beat at med. speed until well blended. Add egg; beat just until blended. Combine flour, salt & baking soda. Add to peanut butter mix until blended. Drop by heaping tsps. 2 inches apart on UNgreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork to make crisscross pattern. Bake for 5-6 mins. or until light brown.
