1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 t vanilla
3 cups uncooked quick oats
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup crunchy or creamy peanut butter

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 9-in sq baking pan. Melt butter in lg saucepan over med heat. Add sugar/vanilla & mix well.
Stir in oats. Cook over low heat 2-3 min. or until well blended. Press half of mixture into pan. Use back of spoon to spread mixture evenly.
Melt choc. chips in sm saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally. Stir in peanut butter until smooth.
Pour choc. mixture over oat mixture in pan, spread evenly with knife. Crumble remaining oat mixture over choc. layer, pressing in gently. Cover and refrigerate 2-3 hours.
Bring to room temp before cutting into bars.
