1 pound lean ground beef 1/4 tsp. pepper .
four hamburger buns,spilt.
your favorite toppings ketchup,mustard,tomatoes ,lettuce,dill pickle slices.

Directions:
Directions:
1.Shape the ground beef with hands into 4 patties .( they should be about 3/4 inch thick.use the ruler to measure,if you like).Sprinkle about half of the salt and pepper on one side of the patties .Turn patties over,and sprinkle the rest of the salt and pepper on the other side of patties.
2.Put patties in the skillet.Cook over medium heat for five minutes longer.To cheak if patties are cooked,stick the meat thermometer into one of the patties .Watch the line until it stops moving.When the line stops at 106F,the patties are done .If it dosn't go that high,cook patties a little longer and test again with themometer.3.Open each hamburger bun to make a top and a bottom .of the bottom of the buns .add your favorite toppings.Cover with the top of the bun.
