4-5 lbs pickles (3"-5" long)
6 c water
3 c vinegar
10-12 cloves garlic, peeled
fresh dill (2 pieces per jar)
4 T coarse salt (for marinade)

Directions:
Directions:
Clean and put pickles in cold water for 12 hours in refrigerator. Drain.
Bring vinegar, water, and salt to a boil. Add pickles to heat them, then put them in hot jars (heated to 250º) for ten minutes.
Put dill and garlic in the middle and on top. Add vinegar and close well. Don't taste them for 4-6 weeks.
