1 stick butter
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients and moist ingredients in separate bowls then combine until both are incorporated.
Spoon onto cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes at 350º.

The sugar cookies were my Dad’s favorite. His Aunt Tiss, who lived across the street from us, would always make them.
