1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
1 lb yellow squash, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup shredded mild cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Pour melted butter into a 1 1/2 qt, casserole; add squash, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Combine egg, mayonnaise, green pepper and onion; mix well and pour over squash. Sprinkle evenly with cheese; bake at 350º for 35 to 40 minutes.
